Oooops

Technology must be taking a lot of the fun out of being a teenager. My girlfriend got this phone call. When she answered the excited girl voice started immediately.

"You've won a thousand dollars!" it said.

"Wow. Really?" my girlfriend answered, apparently not with enough enthusiasm.

"Really!! A THOUSAND DOLLARS!!! Isn't that exciting!?" Inflation has also taken its toll on our youth. Perhaps a million would have been more effective.

This went a couple more rounds before my girlfriend lowered the boom. "Do you know your name and number show up on my caller ID?"

Silence. Crank calling will never be the same.
